Zakari Momodu
An administrator, strategist, relationships manager and, development professional with over 25 years’ experience in hands-on management and direct support to businesses, governments and chief executives across private, public, and the development sectors. Educated in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Zakari has worked in real estate, banking, retail, FMCG, energy and business development, as well as in the public sector where he worked with several Nigerian governments and international development partners on reform and government policy at Federal and sub-national levels.
He has spent the last decade working in corporate strategy, project management, and policy development first for one of Africa’s largest business conglomerates and more recently in one of Africa’s largest indigenous private philanthropies overseeing projects in health & nutrition, education, and empowerment. In 2020 he oversaw the project management secretariat for the Private Sector Coalition Against Covid-19 (CACOVID) in Nigeria.
Zakari is currently the Projects Director at Aliko Dangote Foundation, based in Lagos, Nigeria. As Projects Director, he is responsible for strategy and programmes delivery across the foundation’s portfolio of initiatives and deputies for the Managing Director/CEO.
