Yusuf Dramani
Yusuf Dramani is the Country Director for IFDC Nigeria, a global leader in developing and delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for enhancing soil health, agricultural productivity, dairy & livestock development, and food security. With over 15 years of experience in the agricultural sector, Yusuf has a proven track record of managing development and research projects and programs, mobilizing resources, and creating partnerships across West Africa. Prior to Joining IFDC, Yusuf was the Agricultural Project Manager for Nestlé Central and West Africa, the Regional Coordinator for the Cassava: Adding Value for Africa Phase II (C:AVA II) Project funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, etc.
Yusuf is passionate about improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and transforming the agri-food system through sustainable crop productivity enhancement, cost effective postharvest technologies, food and nutrition security, inclusive business models, and climate-smart agriculture.
He holds an MPhil in Crop Science from the University of Ghana, an MSc in Project Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Food and Nutrition Security from Wageningen University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the University of Suffolk in UK. He also has publications, certifications, and honors in his field of expertise. Yusuf is currently a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and an International Society of Tropical Root Crops – Africa Branch
