Leïla Ben Amor Mathieu

Currently Head of section Human Development (Education, Health, Social Protection, Resilience) at the European Union Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Dr Leila Ben Amor Mathieu has been a full time academic and researcher in the United States, Mexico and France (still tenured at Université de Poitiers) for 25 years specialising in information science and media studies.

She has published over 24 books and articles. She moved on to international cooperation 14 years ago, in charge of several sectors, of which science and higher education in both Mali and Nigeria. She has held various elective responsibilities at national level in the French higher education system.
