Dr. Domen Mongus

Dr Domen Mongus is a full professor at the University of Maribor. His research focuses on the fusion of heterogeneous geospatial data sources and streams for the development of spatially aware artificial intelligence methods and applications.

In his academic career, he has received several awards for his scientific and pedagogic work. Amongst others, he was named Young Scientist of the Danube Region and received the highest institutional awards for Exceptional Contributions to Scientific and Pedagogical Reputation and Excellence of the University of Maribor, as well as Industrial Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer.
