Abimbola Olufore Wycliffe

Ms. Abimbola Olufore Wycliffe is a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning the private, public, and international spheres. In her current role as the Head of Investment and Technology Promotion (ITPO) for Africa, she is responsible for promoting innovation, facilitating technology exchange, and providing advisory support to various organizations. 

Prior to her current tenure at the United Nations, where she heads the Investment and Technology and Promotion Office, she advised Nigeria’s Minister of Trade and Investment and secure crucial development funding for technology initiatives, improved credit access for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and established valuable partnerships with development partners.

Her impressive career also includes substantial contributions to several national policy development, trade facilitation, and expanding energy access, complemented by 20 years of experience in the private sector.

Ms. Wycliffe holds multiple academic degrees and is a dedicated advocate for a low-carbon future, actively championing the adoption of clean technology solutions in the ongoing global transition towards sustainable energy practices.
