Amr EL Hadidi

 

Amr has 33 years of experience in various Research & Development roles across 4 key businesses, including 2 of the world’s leading FMCG companies (P&G and Pepsico), driving the innovation agenda across several businesses in Europe, Africa (North & West), Asia Pacific and the Gulf Markets.

He joined Flour Mill of Nigeria (FMN) early 2021 to spearhead their innovation agenda as the General Manager of Innovation. Prior to joining FMN, he worked for Americana, Regional Food business, between 2018-2020. 

He spent most of his career with Pepsico (24 yrs) where he joined them 1994 to start up the R&D function in their Foods business in Egypt followed by their Saudi business snacks startup during the mid 90’s. Then he moved to Pepscio’s UK technical center in 1998 to lead the expansion of one of the key snacks categories across a number European and Middles Eastern Markets, followed by Turkey in 2002 and Saudi in 2003 to support the growing food business in the Middle East as well as Pakistan Foods green field start up. In 2009, moved to Dubai to start-up the beverage R&D arm within Middle East Africa Region. During this period he inaugurated the 1st Innovation Technical Center within the Middle East region in 2014.  In 2015, he was appointed as head of Nutrition R&D for the whole of the Asian and Middle Markets.   

Prior to PepsiCo, he worked for Procter & Gamble in in R&D responsible for the Paper Category in the Gulf Markets between 1991-94.
